DESCRIPTION: • Perform preventative maintenance according to company guidelines • Provide technical support on production equipment as needed to insure lines are in operation at all times. • Perform technical problem solving for all equipment and processes. • Overhaul and/or replace equipment parts and motors as needed. • Perform technical tasks involving hydraulics, pneumatics and HAAS CNC machinery. • Trouble-shoot line performance issues; trouble-shoot basic and high voltage electrical circuits while working with process logic controllers (PLC).

Logistics Coordinator

DESCRIPTION: The key responsibilities of the position include: • Establish an assessment and compliance process for freight carriers. • Negotiate inbound and outbound freight rates with carriers; document cost reductions. • Coordinate outbound domestic and international shipments with Customer Service and Shipping. • Coordinate all inbound freight shipments including import ocean and air freight shipments. • Assist with export shipping documents when necessary. • Establish a process to ensure country of origin (C/O) and product description are assigned for all sourced merchandise. • Analyze the characteristics of all imported merchandise to determine and assign the correct Harmonized Tariff Schedule number. Maintain a classification list of imported items. • Monitor freight invoices to ensure: 1) invoiced price is correct; 2) invoice matches bill of lading; 3) proper value is declared on the Customs Entry Summary (CF 7501). • Assist Purchasing to establish a logistics plan for all stock-item suppliers; provide correct duty rates and special duty program information to help determine a true landed cost; coordinate with Purchasing to obtain appropriate foreign supplier information, as well as pricing documents. • File claims for damaged or lost freight and reconcile accordingly with appropriate Carriers and Customhouse Brokers.
